An entrepreneur is one who establishes an enterprise and thereby incurs substantial financial risk with the objective of profiting from that risk.

In the same way the success of a restaurateur is decided by whether or not people patronize their restaurant at a frequency that keeps them financially solvent, the success of an entrepreneur is dictated by whether or not people give their enterprise money with enough frequency that keeps them financially solvent.

A shitty restaurateur will not be in business long, and neither will a shitty entrepreneur. Someone who cannot temper their creative or non-solvency related concerns with a respect and understanding of the bottom line should work for someone else who can.

Ok?
